Caring individual/couple required to house sit and look after Max
Hi there thanks for dropping by... I'm looking for a fantastic individual/couple to come and look after Max when I go away. I adopted Max 10 months ago from a rescue centre who had brought him over from Romania where he'd spent his time as a street dog and then in some awful shelters before he was given his winning ticket to be brought to a much better place! He's a lovely character and although he hadn't been socialised , he is now coming on leaps and bounds and is learning to interact fantastically with other dogs. He can be wary of larger breeds and as he has cataracts, dogs coming in at a speed can unnerve him. Nothing that treat aversion hasn't overcome though :)
He's an amazing dog with so much love to give and loves his fusses and walks. If you're not afraid of large dogs and you fancy the village life for a week or so then I'd love to hear from you!
Our Home & Location
3 bed mews property recently refurbished throughout, located right next to fields and 10 minutes from the canal and Lymm dam, so plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep. Lymm is a small village with restaurants, bars and a few shops. The centre of the village is 10 min on foot through the park. There isn't a local train station however there are plenty of buses. Manchester airport is 20 minutes away.
Responsibilities & Pets
I'm looking for someone to come and house sit/provide company for Max whilst I'm away on holiday and also take Max out on a couple of walks a day. I normally cover on average about 4-5 miles walking however as long as he gets a couple of 30 minute walks each day then that would be great. Obviously if you're an avid walker then longer walks not a problem either. He is used to being left on his own for a few hours each day so it wound't be an issue for the sitter to go out during the day and at night.
