Cat Lovers Needed
We're new to using house sitters but because we hate leaving the cats at the cattery (although they are well looked after) being able to leave them at home is appealing.
My husband and I both work full-time so the cats are used to being alone during they day, even when we're here they sleep most of the time! They're pretty laid back and don't wake us up if we're having a lie-in, as long as their biscuit bowls are topped up they'll wait for their food....
We're both passionate about gardening and love to grow tomatoes and veg in our garden. + More info
Our Home & Location
We live in a detached home on the outskirts of Rugby, close to the motorway if you're driving. The railway station is about 3 miles away and there is a bus service that runs to the end of our road.
We're right in the centre of the UK, close to Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Birmingham so there's plenty to do. London is 50mins away by train....
Rugby town centre has the usual range of shopping outlets as well as some more individual shops and is about 10mins away, by car. There are also shops within walking distance of our house with the nearest supermarket less than a mile away. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We have 4 cats who are used to having staff. They get fed twice daily and like to be fussed. They have a cat flap but still use the litter tray from time to time so need cleaning up after. They're not very good at wiping their feet so we would ask that the floor is cleaned regularly but other than that there won't be any house things to do.
We do have a garden which will require a bit of attention when the weather is nice and depending on the time of year, watering the greenhouse and pots etc. nothing too onerous though...
We grow veg so our house sitter will be able to help themselves to anything that is ready for harvesting when they stay. + More info
