Christmas in Baldock
Retired lady in her late 70's who enjoys walking, reading, volunteering and looking after my beloved Charlie.
Charlie is an adorable Chocolate Lab who loves everyone. He's low maintenance but being an older chap, he is slow due to his joint dysplasia for which he is on medication....
I'd prefer an older single person or a couple (40's upwards) to take care of Charlie and my home and preferably with police checks. + More info
Our Home & Location
Baldock is mid way between London King's Cross and Cambridge. It is a market town with lots of pubs, restaurants, shops and local amenities. It has very good rail links to Cambridge, Ely and Kings's Lynn as well as London King's Cross.
Road access is very good also for the A1, north and south. It is also conveniently located to Luton and Stansted Airports.
Responsibilities & Pets
Charlie needs someone who is patient and kind and able to administer his medication, although this is never a problem with Charlie due to his insatiable love of food!
Charlie will need 3 short walks daily, 8am, 16.30 and just before bed time around 22.30, and the obvious clearing up after him at these times....
He will also need to be brushed daily after the morning walk.
Charlie has 2 meals a day, each of which is split into 2. He has a small amount just before his walk and the remainder on his return. He recently underwent surgery for a laryngeal tie back and this is the reason for the split meals.
He has fresh water daily and lots of cuddles. + More info
