Bovingdon, Hertfordshire lovely english village in The Chiltern Hills on Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border for somebody who will love one very sociable sweet cat
CleoCatra and I live in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire in the middle of gorgeous British countryside. Nestled in the Chiltern Hills on the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border with local attractions, amenities nearby and easy access to M1, M25, M40 and trains to London.
CleoCatra was abandoned at just a few months old and decided to adopt me when she followed me from the street in Dubai. Being a typical Egyption Mau, she is very sociable and can be chatty and playful. She is ostensibly an indoor cat but loves to go for short morning and evening walks on her harness and lead. She is fine if she doesn't go out but can get restless and noisy if she does miss her walks. She is good with strangers and loves children and dogs, she is nervous of other cats, probably from being bullied when she was on the street as a small kitten....
This will be the first time I am leaving her so I am looking for somebody patient with experience in looking after cats.
I feed her two to three times a day and she has a litter tray that needs cleaning once a day.
She is a bit of a mummy's girl and is a very sweet natured, typical cat with little foibles. + More info
Our Home & Location
A spacious three bedroom semi-detached house in a peaceful area of Bovingdon with all the village shops within minutes' walk. Situated in the lovely British countryside we are in the Chiltern Hills and often get snow even when the larger, surrounding, towns of Hemel Hempstead, Chesham, Berkhamsted and Rickmansworth don't. The village shops provide all you could need and M1, M25, M40 are all within 10 minutes' drive. Also nearby are mainline and Metropolitan/Chiltern line stations providing easy access to London. Our Four Chestnuts Estate consists of 8 houses and my neighbours are very friendly and helpful, should you need anything.
Responsibilities & Pets
CleoCatra is a typical young cat, she is a very sweet and affectionate little thing but isn't a lap cat.
She has normal cat requirements such as being fed two to three times a day and a having a clean litter box....
She does have little foibles such as liking to go for walks on her harness and lead. She has some mad turns where she is happy to have a game with a ping pong ball or plastic bag.
She is sociable so shouldn't be left all night without company. + More info
