Petsitter(s) needed for my 3 dogs (2 corgis,1 mixed breed) St Albans Hertfordshire
We are Simon and Fiona Parker living just outside St Albans, Hertfordshire (about 20 miles from London) near to the M1 and M25. Our furry family consists of 3 dogs and a young female cat. Our dogs are 2 Welsh Cardigan Corgis called Dexter and Fergus (brothers), and a mixed breed rescue dog called Dobby. Our cat is called Nala -also a rescue. We live in a comfortable 5 bedroomed detached house with large garden and lots of countryside nearby. We're looking for someone, preferably a couple to look after our dogs and house while we are away on holiday (walking 3 dogs safely is a challenge for 1 person) Our dogs are very loved and are a big part of our family, so we need them to be well looked after while we are away. They are used to 2 walks a day, morning and lunchtime/afternoon! If you've never experienced corgi's before, I'm sure you'll be converted once you meet them, they are full of fun, very intelligent, and very well socialised. We are a 10 minutes drive to St Albans or Watford which have a good selection of shops. and also about 15 minutes from the Harry Potter studios. We are looking for a couple ideally already in the UK so that I could meet the person(s) who would be housesitting for us. The dogs are used to having me at home every day (I'm self employed) so I wouldn't want them to be left for more than 4 hours. I will only consider applicants who can provide references from previous house sits. I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in house/dog sitting for us!
Our Home & Location
5 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite bathrooms, 1 other bathroom with jacuzzi bath and seperate downstairs wc. Luxury well fitted large kitchen with integrated appliances including coffee machine, steam oven, range cooker etc. Open plan dining room/living room and separate large lounge. We live in a friendly village with good transport links to St Albans and Watford, and lots of lovely countryside nearby. Use of a car can be included if necessary.
Responsibilities & Pets
Keeping our dogs company, and safe. Ideally, they should be walked a couple of times daily (this is their normal routine)They are used to having me around with them so shouldn't be left on their own for more than a few hours at a time. They adore company so will enjoy any attention you give them! Hopefully, you would leave my home in the same condition you found it!
