Liz looking for carers for Lexi and Hattie in north norfolk
Lexi and I moved to North Creake in 2016. I love the area having spent many childhood holidays here and brought my three, now grown up, children to the area every year. Being in my mid fifties, I am part time self employed. Lexi is used to being with me whatever I’m doing and, never having left her before, I would like to go on holiday comfortable in the knowledge that she is happy with her routine and familiar surroundings maintained. Hattie belongs to John. She isn’t used to be left either but doesn’t need quite as much reassurance as Lexi, perhaps being a little maturer! John and Hattie spend alot of time with Lexi and I so, as we are holidaying together, we would like to leave them together.
Our Home & Location
I have completely refurbished and extended my house since I’ve been here. It is warm and comfortable with a modern kitchen. It has a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and three comfortable bedrooms. There is a garden, stunning views of the Norfolk countryside and easy access to the beautiful north norfolk coast. North Creake doesn’t have a shop but Creake Barns is about a mike away with a Farm Shop and cafe. The village is fantastically placed for exploring north norfolk, whether you like beaches, countryside, historical houses or towns. Lexi and Hattie have travel carry crates and usually accompany us. There are many good pubs and cafes or we have all the facilities to take picnics. The options for walking are endless and Lexi and Hattie will be willing companions.
Responsibilities & Pets
As our full time companions, I would like Lexi and Hattie looked after in familiar surroundings. They are used to companionship and not being left for long periods of time. They sleep downstairs and are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. They usually have breakfast 7/7.30 am and go out in the garden. They are walked morning and afternoon, have tea about 5 pm and supper and a wee in the garden around 10 pm. If the weather is wet, Lexi does get wet and mucky but the house has the facilities to clean and dry her.
