Rural Norfolk retreat over Christmas with a dog and a cat
My husband and I share our home with our much loved dog and cat. We also love to travel and have relied on the help of pet sitters before. We find that it is a perfect arrangement and we have made new friends as a result. We enjoy sharing our home with like minded people and are happy knowing that our animals are looked after when we are away.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a converted Chapel built in 1836. It is located in a rural Norfolk village with lots of lovely walks, and a short drive away from the beautiful beaches and the Queen's Sandringham estate. There are also many historic villages and market towns to visit. Inside the house is very modern, with a lovely kitchen, garden and 2 wood burning fires. The internet is good and TV has all the streaming options. The village has a shop and take-outs, but a car is needed to get further about.
Responsibilities & Pets
Our dog is 18 months, he had a rough start in life, losing a leg probably in a car accident before we adopted him, but that doesn't stop him from running, playing and enjoying life to the full! He is clever and inquisitive. He needs 2 walks of an hour or so a day, and he loves all other dogs. Our cat is a mature 11 year old, and doesn't put up with any nonsense from the pup. He is happy sleeping most of the day with occasional patrols of the garden. We also have 3 fish who live in a pond, but they are very low maintenance.
