Multi pet household situated in a great location for transport links to Manchester & Liverpool, looking for sitter
We hate leaving our pets and do have a regular house sitter, but sadly she is unavailable for some dates because her services are in such demand! A friendly human to feed, cuddle and exercise our furries would be wonderful.
Our Home & Location
Our home is an terraced house, which was built to accommodate the miners who worked the pit (now a park) situated a few hundred metres behind the house. We have carried out a lot of work on the house and now have underfloor heating downstairs, a gas log burner effect stove and a loft conversion. Our home has everything to make a house sitter's stay comfortable including two double bedrooms to choose from. There are lots of walks locally, plenty of shops to choose from on the doorstep and Wigan, Leigh, St Helens and Warrington town centres are all only 20 minutes away by car. Our location would make a great base for day trips to Manchester, Liverpool and Chester as we are only a mile or two from the M6 and the train station at Newton-Le-Willows is only 2 miles away.
Responsibilities & Pets
We would like a house sitter to feed, walk and fuss our dogs and to feed, fuss and clean the litter trays of our cats. Our cats, Jasper and Oscar, are brothers and indoor cats who enjoy spending supervised time in the garden on pleasant days. They are both playful and affectionate, though Oscar can be shy with new people, so may take a while to win over.
Our dogs Izzy & Sukie were adopted by us as a pair from their last home, they are such good friends that their last owners wanted them to stay together. Izzy is a very sweet girl who loves a cuddle, Sukie is a gentle girl whose favourite things are swimming and chasing balls, though she can't do too much of the latter because she over heats easily - that doesn't stop her from enjoying a good sunbathe though!...
Winter is our latest addition and youngest pet in the house, she can still behave like a giddy puppy, but she has learned her manners and is a very bright girl. We should have called her shadow because she follows us about the house, usually in the hopes of getting some food! She us a very sweet and loving girl too, as all of our animals are. + More info
