Pet sitter needed for our two Siberian Huskys in North Hampshire
We are a married couple looking for someone to house sit our two husky dogs whilst we are away. As both dogs are quite senior in years they are fairly chilled for their breed. That said they are both up for walks and will quickly get your attention if they want something :) They love routine and do not settle well in kennels hence the need for a house sit. We have a forest nearby for their walks but we are happy to arrange dog walkers during the working week if needed. We have decent broadband speed for internet access and mobile coverage on most networks. Its just over an hour from London and about 30-45 mins from Portsmouth.
We will leave early Sunday 30th September returning midday 13th October but we have friends who will take over on Sunday 7th October. Ideally we would like to meet the house sitter on Saturday 29th for full handover, and welcome to stay from there, or if local 'ish' meet some time during the week.
Our Home & Location
We have a four bedroom house, WiFi, full access to the TV etc with instructions. Local amenities. Several of nice pubs within a short car drive and two train stations within 20 minutes.
Responsibilities & Pets
The dogs do not need 24/7 supervision, but need routine. Letting them out to the garden first thing in the morning, breakfast, a walk during the day and tea around 5-6pm. Final trip to the garden before your bed time. Siberian's love to run, chase animals and escaping is part of the fun. A door left open a crack will be enough for them and they will be off. Strict front door policy and they are to be kept on leads at all time. This is standard a Siberian husky trait unfortunately.
