House sit for lovely Layla (young collie/lab cross ) on the Isle of Wight
Tim and I have three grown up children living in different parts of the UK and in the USA. We like to visit them when we can. When we go to the USA we also do some travelling.
Tim is retired and I work as consultant trainer/facilitators in the charity sector....
Between us we love cycling, sea swimming, long walks, live music, spending time with friends and travelling + More info
Our Home & Location
We live in a 5 bedroom (two bathrooms) chalet bungalow in the countryside. We are surrounded by trees, fields, footpaths and bridleways. We have great views . The house is off the main road: it is situated about 0.4 mile down an unmade up road
The house has a large kitchen. Bedrooms are mostly located on the ground floor. There is a large sitting room upstairs. There is a summer house in the garden....
We have a big garden and a field ... we spend lots of time outdoors AND the house is very comfortable and welcoming ( we think!) + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The house sitter's main responsibility would be to care for Layla. She is a lively bright well trained and very responsive young dog, with all that goes with being 6 months old!. She needs lots of exercise, and probably some one experienced with young dogs needs.
The chickens need to be fed and let out and eggs collected...
We would appreciate sitters who enjoy gardening (or at least keeping the garden tidy) but Layla is the main priority + More info
