Chilled Italian Boy looking for Walking Companion!
I'm retired and love to travel. In the last few years I've been on a few cruises ( where I can be pampered) but my heart is really with adventure travel. I Recently returned from an amazing 3 week holiday to Ethiopia, have camped and travelled through Namibia and Botswana in an ex army truck and will be exploring India in the autumn. I love art, architecture, fast cars and am a positive, happy person. I have two grown up sons and a wonderful, animal mad step daughter.
Our Home & Location
I live down a quiet country lane, 3 miles from the centre of Malvern and the same distance from Worcester. It's an unusual 4 bedroom house and, though a period property, has all the mod cons you'd expect. I have a large and lovely garden with a large pond. There is an African hut in the garden with lighting and heat, which is great for summer entertaining. There is a BBQ and a table and seating area by the back door for breakfasts in the garden and a table and chairs on the back patio to catch the last rays of the sun. The birdsong in the garden is lovely!
Responsibilities & Pets
Fergus needs a good walk once a day. Living by the Malvern Hills we usually walk up there for just over an hour, with good weather for two hours. He runs off lead but responds well to the whistle. I also do weekend walks of 7-8 miles in the Cotswolds and he loves those. You will need to wash the kitchen and utility floor a few times during your stay - muddy paws, don't you know! The vacuum will need to come out of its'cupboard too and if you enjoy gardening that would be heaven. In summer the lawn needs cutting every 10-14 days and grass cuttings taken to the tip a couple of miles away. I'm happy to insure my old A6 ( my dog and tip car!) so that takes the strain and mud. Other than that please respect and enjoy my lovely home.
