a month of New Year cuddles with these two lovelies!
We are two travelling sisters: Lisa is an artist, art teacher and also event coordinator, and Tove is a photographer, meditation coach and travel blogger/vlogger. We share our home with two larger than life characters, sometimes mistaken for dogs! Rhiley Blu, the weimie, is loving and loud and Keegan, the dal, is playful and a huge fan of snacks. Daily walks combat calories and induce lengthy naps that free up human TV time - couch sharing essential for cuddles.
Our Home & Location
We live in the gloriously green and enchanting Northern Ireland, in a fabulous pet-friendly neighbourhood just outside of Bangor (approximately 13miles to Belfast). We are on a bus route, close to train stations, etc. Bangor itself is a picturesque seaside town, with a lovely marina, plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and other amenities.
Just down the road from us is a delightful linear park with walkways and streams and plenty to keep the dogs occupied. Wide tree-lined pavements make walking a breeze . Their favourite place, though, is the Castle Park just next to Bangor Castle. There they can run and explore and pretend to chase squirrels and do dog stuff....
Our home is a semi-detached double storey, with two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Our dining room/art studio is great for cosy meals and card games, and our lounge is where we go for tranquillity (only when there's nothing on TV, Sky or Netflix). Our kitchen leads out onto a nice sized back garden that we are in the process of redesigning. The sun hits it perfectly for late, lazy afternoons. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Cuddles are essential. Love and hugs and walks and snacks! That's the life! Rhiley and Keegan have breakfast and dinner, and snacks include apples and carrots and the occasional dog biscuit. They love lots of fresh water. They are very eager on their walks and can pull a bit, so definitely wear your running shoes if you're heading out on an adventure. We confess we indulge them, but we are trying to find our way out of bad habits like letting them up on the beds etc. We don't always win.
When you meet them, you'll understand...
