Bungalow in Bucksburn, Aberdeen. Estrela Mountain Dog and two cats need loving companions.
My wife and I are new to Aberdeen having moved here from London for work. We love it here! However, we are about to embark on a ten day trip, walking the West Highland Way. We want for our pets to feel comfortable and safe while we are gone, so we are looking for a house sitter who can love two fluffy cats and one big sugarlump of a dog. PLEASE NOTE Louie is an Estrela Mountain Dog, NOT a Leonberger, but his breed was not available in the drop down list so I chose the closest match!
Our Home & Location
Our home is a semi detached bungalow outside Aberdeen with a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower attachment, double bedroom with king size bed and a study.
We have limitless fibre broadband, an iMac you can use, a Playstation 4 and we have a TV and blu-ray player. Double glazed with storage heaters.
Aberdeen is a beautiful old Scottish city on the coast of the north sea.
To the east we have beaches and sea, and a short drive to the west is The Cairngorms national park, an absolutely beautiful area of mountains and forests and lakes. Aberdeen city itself has all you could ask, bars, casinos, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, shops and a large shopping centre.
The 727 bus and the 17 bus will take you east into Aberdeen City, or north to Dyce Station, the closest rail station, which will give you access to Inverurie, Edinburgh and Inverness. Alternatively, if you have a car you can drive to the city in 15 minutes. Having a car will also give you access to The Cairngorms....
Kirkhill Forest, Brimmond Hill and Tyrebagger are all within walking distance. If golf is your thing we have golf courses!
The fields behind the house are being turned into a housing development so there are diggers and workmen during the day (830am-5pm), however the double glazing keeps the noise out. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Louie needs a walk each day between one and two hours. He should not be exercised until at least 45 minutes after eating (for digestion/bloat)
He should be let into the garden for toileting after each meal. Please pick up his poop, we will provide bags.
All pets are fed twice a day, our current schedule is 8am and 8pm.
Louie has two tablets added to each of his meals.
General tidiness of the house should be maintained, we have a vacuum cleaner you can use, the pets do molt a bit!
