St Andrews town centre, Dog sitting in the home of golf
We are transplanted Americans heading back to the USA to see family. Piper is the love of our life and we want her to have a good time while we are gone. We also love St Andrews and really enjoy showing it off! My husband is a keen golfer and I row with the St Andrews Coastal Rowing Club. Our boys are just completing yr 4 and yr 7 at St Leonard’s junior school in town.
Our Home & Location
We have a lovely recently remodelled cottage with a south facing garden in the centre of St. Andrews. We are a 10 min walk to the first tee of the Old Course, as well as beautiful beaches. WE are a 5 min walk to the bus station with easy links to Dundee and Edinburgh.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have one perfectly spoiled Australian labradoodle, Piper. She is a small dog and is very well behaved with an incredibly sweet temperament. She loves long walks on the beach getting her ball thrown. Piper is like most dogs, she needs out first thing (by 8am) and needs at least one very good walk (an hour or more) a day. Otherwise, she likes to accompany you about town and at the bars and eateries where she is welcome in town. If you have a round of golf planned, she is ok Home alone for up to 5 hours, but I wouldn’t like to see to many days of her left home alone too long. She needs a final out about the 9:30 or 10:pm - depending how early you get up. She can just use the back garden, but you would be expected to pick up after her. She has no health issues or special concerns. She is well socialised with people and other dogs.
