Peter and Fiona Misselbrook
We are going away to Africa on safari from 2nd -14th May 2018
Our Home & Location
We live in a beautiful setting with 8 acres for the ponies. We have stunning views of the Lammermuirs, so very rural. Local shops within a 10 minute drive, the Firth of Forth is 20 mins by car with wonderful beaches. Edinburgh is 25 miles away so a 40 min journey.
I breed very rare Scottish ponies called Eriskays, they live out all year round, but need checking every day and a bucket of food.
The 3 Cocker Spaniels are working dogs but live in overnight but we do have kennels if your out during the day. They are fairly well behaved, but Blini is 2 in July so still learning!
We moved here 6 months ago, but in good order. The house is only 25 yrs old so warm and cosy. We have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom and a wet room....
We are keen gardeners so by May the greenhouse may need watering.
I will try and take some photos of the house tomorrow, and add the ponies and dogs.
Peter is a Lawyer and due to retire in a couple of years. I am a trained Cordon Blue cook and teach at Colstoun a local cookery school Nr Gifford. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We will be taking the dogs with us as were going to a Scottish Island on holiday.
Looking after 7 rare Eriskay ponies, feeding them once a day and checking water.
