Historic house in market town near Edinburgh
I live in beautiful East Lothian, east of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, with my husband and 3 children, aged 16 to 23, a girl and two boys.
We work hard but have a lot of fun. My many hobbies include: cycling, tennis, skiing, gardening, walking, golf and watching our daughter play hockey....
Most of our travelling has been to go skiing in France, Italy, Austria and the US, and in the summer to visit Spain, Portugal, France and Turkey.
My husband and my previous travelling was done about 29 years ago on a trip round the world which took to the US, New Zealand, Australia, the Far East, Russia (on the Trans Siberian Express!), and Germany (just after the Berlin wall came down). And we went to Namibia for our honeymoon! + More info
Our Home & Location
We live in a historic market town, just half an hour east of Edinburgh in East Lothian in Scotland, UK, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside.
Our house is about 250 years old and has a completely secure walled garden with lots of lawns and space for our two dogs....
The house has a large kitchen/dining room, sitting room, 4 bedrooms, a bathroom (with bath and shower), separate WC, and ensuite shower room. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Pip and Crumble need to be walked twice a day please, and allowed to run around in our large, secure, walled garden (with the pend gate safely shut).
There are plenty of excellent local walking options: good walking along the River Tyne very nearby in Haddington, on East Lothian's sandy beaches within 15 minutes drive and on paths in nearby countryside (eg from Bolton towards Gifford)....
Pip and Crumble need to be fed twice a day please.
They are well behaved (mostly!) and sleep quietly in the kitchen. + More info
