Two Spaniels - House Sit Scotland - Perthshire
We are looking for someone to dog sit slightly last minute from 6th October to 9th October while we're away for a memorial service in Malta. Otis (13yrs) and Gus (11 months) are our two dogs, both are working cocker spaniels. Otis is getting a bit old so is too senior for kennels and Gus is young so we would prefer them to stay in their own space where they are comfortable. We have just finished an extension to our house so everything is newly decorated and we have a large garden which is great for exercising the dogs. We'd be looking for someone to arrive around lunchtime on the Saturday and head off around early evening on the Tuesday. Let me know if this sounds of interest!
Our Home & Location
We love our home! I am a garden designer so we have spent a lot of time planting up the garden and we have 4 acres of plantings, woodland and lawns for the dogs (and us!) to enjoy. We are quite rural but Blairgowrie is only 5 mins by car so it is easy to get all local services and shops etc. We are just at the start of the Highlands and very close to the Cairngorms so the scenery is spectacular and this would be a great house sit for someone wanting to explore this beautiful part of the world a bit...
Responsibilities & Pets
Otis is old and pretty deaf but still happy and cheerful. We generally take him for short walks around the garden but he's fine on walks up to about an hour. He's fine off the lead at home but we would ask that he is kept on a lead anywhere else just for his safety as he can't always hear a whistle anymore.
Gus is 11 months old and very energetic. We take him out around the garden at least 3 times a day and try to exercise him more if possible - he never tires! He is getting there with his training but it's early days. He sits, comes back and is very keen to please....
They are great friends! + More info
