A warm welcome in a rural setting
We stay in a small village in Aberdeenshire Scotland, very nice place to live. Our neighbourhood is quite and quaint.
Our pets enjoy walks in the forest and there are many beautiful areas to explore
Our Home & Location
We live in a house that was built in 1870, it has character, it is on three levels, it looks small from the outside but bigger on the inside. Our house is made of granite from our local quarry.
2 bedrooms on the top level plus bathroom. One of the bedrooms which our house sitter would stay in has a over view of the village roof tops, a park area which we run the dogs in and of our famous mountain Bennachie, you also get a good view of the garden.
You do get a better view of Bennachie in winter when the trees have lost there leaves.
2nd level is our living room and kitchen. We have 2 fire places in the living room. From the kitchen you walk out on to a two level decking area leading down into the back garden.
The garden has my 'she shed' which is small but lovely to have a nice Cuppa and watch the animals play.
We also have a larger cabin in the very rear of the garden with a wood burning stove, very rustic. We enjoy listening to music and sitting inside next to the fire or out side on the porch area....
In the basement which also leads out to the garden is our utility area and 2 storage rooms ( small rooms). Plus a small bathroom.
Our home is cozy, it is not modern, more of a cottage feel. + More info
