Pet sitter needed for 2 dogs, end of September through October for 17 days. We can be flexible with your departure date as we arrive back late on the Monday evening / early Tuesday so you would obviously be welcome to stay over on the Monday and Tuesday evening if needed
We are a couple, 49 and 43, looking for a pet-sitter to look after our two dogs. Bella is a 2 yr old x-something and Bobbie is a Jack Russell. They are both rescue dogs. They would normally stay at trusted kennels but with for longer trips I'd like them both to be in familiar territory whilst my partner and I are away. They are both very loving. Both are very playful.
We don't know anything about Bella's past but she does get nervous at times, brushes, vacuum cleaners are all things she tends to steer clear of. They can both can be boisterous but they get along fine (minus the odd squabble) and both sleep together on the same bedding at night....
There is a bedroom for a child, both are great with kids, usual caveats apply regarding no riding of the dogs though :)
...Oh, the house is in Pontprennau, Cardiff...not Pontcanna... + More info

Responsibilities & Pets
Someone to primarily look after the dogs and make sure they are comfortable whilst we are away. They spend the majority of their time sleeping on their bedding in the dining room or in the main room on their blankets (or sofa) while you watch TV. They both love walks, the beach (Ogmore, The Gower) Bella pulls like a husky (despite repeated attempts at training) and Bobbie will lick anything with a pulse (and runs 4 times as far as Bella attempting to keep up with her) They are used to spending the day together as my partner and I both work, someone would have to be at the house overnight as the dogs both wake early. Dogs both love pigs ears (sparingly), sweet 'n salty popcorn, attention and wandering in and out of the back garden...oh, and Bella runs around a lot chasing things for no apparent reason and loves to eat socks...and garden hoses...and satellite cables. Walks are a bonus but they are just as comfortable lounging around being unemployed dogs. Bobbie will play tug with either Bella or you and will win. Always.
