Smallholding in the valleys of south west Wales
We live in an idyllic spot and we normally work from home most of the time (as a solicitor and IT consultant) with our two kids. We can never get away at the same time as the birds always need to be let out every morning and put to bed every night and the dogs have never been on a leash. We tend to put house-sitters in our luxury converted barn while we are away https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/14179702?s=51.
Our Home & Location
We have a lovely house, with a double spare room and a self contained, converted barn which sleeps a further 6 people. We are 5 minutes from the botanic gardens of Wales, there are beautiful historic towns close by like Carmarthen and Llandeilo as well as being only half an hour from gorgeous beaches and a multitude of castles and gardens. There is LOADS to do around here for both adults and children.
Responsibilities & Pets
At this time of year it is pretty easy going, there are birds to let out and put to bed (as well as feeding and checking water), dogs to feed and some seedlings to bring in at night and put out on sunny days (keeping an eye on the temperature).
