URGENT: Two terriers in Pembrokeshire
Bob and I are a retired couple living in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. We came to West Wales from the South East of England two years ago because our daughter and her family moved here. We are still exploring the area and have a motor caravan to help us do this. We play bridge, enjoy cinema, reading and gardening, as well as looking after our grandson when we get the chance. Carol is a member of the WI and Bob is keen on modelling using his metal lathe.
Our Home & Location
Our house is a modern, spacious four bedroomed house with a large garden. It is an "upside-down" house with the reception rooms upstairs with the bedrooms below. We have a beautiful view of Saundersfoot village, the beach and the coast beyond. There is a large double ensuite guest bedroom but another bedroom is available with its own bathroom if required. Saundersfoot is a village on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, close to Tenby and well positioned for exploring this wonderful area. Many visitors take part in water sports such as surfing and kayaking, and there are many interesting places to visit. Cafes, restaurants and shops abound here in the village and further afield.
Responsibilities & Pets
Jack and Jessie are rescue dogs and have not had the easiest of lives. They are very loving and amusing characters, but do need an experienced dog sitter. LIke most terriers, they bark at passers by and Jack will bark at other dogs when he meets them. Jack loves walks and will happily go for miles; Jessie can be a bit lazy but can also walk very well. They have one main walk every day for about 45 minutes, then short walks (sometimes just in the garden, which they love and is quite large) twice more. They are fed twice a day plus treats, which they are both very responsive to. They can be left for four to five hours if they have had a good walk beforehand.
