Two Shy but Sweet Dogs need a Sitter
Hello! My name is Stacey and I travel for work pretty much 99% of my time. I am looking for a sitter to take good care of Sadie and Gable while I am gone. I leave for 2 weeks at a time and come home for a weekend and typically go back out. I hate to leave the dogs, but I love my job. I moved here so I could have both...

Responsibilities & Pets
I usually walk them first thing in the morning, around 5:30-6am (it is cooler outside). I like to take them to the dog park to run around for about 15 -20 minutes. If there are other dogs in the park we just walk around the complex. They LOVE their walks! We do a quick walk in the early afternoon - its too hot to spend much time out there and the pavement is hot for their feet. Gable does not like the sun. He's a little weird... Then we do a nice long walk and/or play at the park in the evening (anytime after 5:30pm so its shady). You can do a short walk before bed if you want.
The dogs are fed 2x a day, once around 6am and again around 5:30pm. They respond to "do you want to eat?" Focusing on the word eat. They get 1.5 cups of food each meal, and of course plenty of water. Sometimes I put ice in the bowl....
Both dogs are skittish and take time to warm up. They definitely have separation anxiety issues and are trying to adjust to their new home and lifestyle. They are both rescues and I am unsure of their stories, however I got them when they were puppies (8 months for Sadie and 4 months for Gable). Once they warm up they are sweet. Gable is an attention hog and will just be happy to be near you - very near you. Sadie lets you know what she wants. Its best to kindof ignore her for a bit until she relaxes. They both have their treats, both love the Organix and then they are picky with everything else. I don't give them people food, especially when I am eating. I don't want them to beg. Sometimes I will share a little meat from the kitchen when I am cooking in there.
Sadie likes to hide under the bed or in a safe place. Gable is a cuddler. They do have some separation anxiety so I give them CBD biscuits when I leave. Gable likes the little bites, Sadie likes the bones in the fridge. So when you leave, close all the doors to the rooms and don't leave out pillow or shoes or things they might chew. Gable loves to play ball and chew on his babies (toys). You can tell him to get his ball or his baby and he'll bring you a toy to play with. Sadie plays when we're not looking. I know, weird. They both love to run and wrestle each other. Especially when you are in another room or taking a shower.
I love these guys more than anything and I moved here just for them - long story. I hope to find a sitter that can get past their quirks and love them almost as much as I do! + More info
