Dog sitter needed in Southern California's main wine region
My name is Nancy and I have a small 13 year old dog name Casey. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, in the Temecula Valley. It's Southern California's main wine region. It's in easy driving distance to San Diego, Los Angeles, the local mountains and the desert. I am a high school French teacher and like to travel when I am not teaching. I have two sons, 19 and 22 years old. My older son is living on his own and the younger one is studying math at UC San Diego and mainly lives there.
Our Home & Location
My house has 4 bedrooms, but one of them is set up more like an office with a fold out couch. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. One of the guest rooms has a full-size bed and the other one has a single bed. There is a lot to do in Temecula itself. There are a lot of wineries, many with live music, microbreweries and Old Town Temecula has lots of places with live music, especially on the weekends. You can also do easy day trips to San Diego, Los Angeles and the local mountains from here.
Responsibilities & Pets
You need to make sure Casey has food and water. He also usually won't eat unless someone is in the house with him. I have a pet door into the back yard, so he can let himself in and out. I try to take him on a walk around the neighborhood each day, usually around a mile. He's in good shape for a 13 year old dog. He just sleeps more than he used to.
