Beach Area Cottage with 200lb Teddy Bear
I have a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage in Newport Heights on the edge of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa in Orange County. The house has a big yard, avocado tree, tons of natural light, AC/heat, washer/dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, and plenty of amenities. A 5 minute drive to the beach or 10 minute bike ride. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, parks, fitness studios, and coffee shops. A safe family oriented community with tons to do nearby! About 25 minutes from Disneyland and 15 from the gorgeous Laguna Beach hiking trails.
I have a BIG pup named Kingsley. He is a 180lb English Mastiff with the sweetest demeanor. He’s very low maintenance and low energy and is happy laying around on the couch all day and eating ice cubes. He loves to go on quick neighborhood walks and also likes to snore really loud sometimes so he’s gotten used to sleeping in the living room. I own my own business and work as a model, and my boyfriend is a chef. We travel often and can work remotely and hate to see our cute space just sitting there. We love the idea of leaving Kingsley in his home and not spending hundreds on dog care. Can’t wait to meet you!
Our Home & Location
2 Bedrooms - 1 Queen Size Canopy Bed; Second bedroom has a twin day bed that pulls out into a queen if needed. There is a back house on the property and my neighbor is very nice. I do not have TV or cable television but you can access Netflix or online video on my big Mac desktop computer. My house is very family friendly but children under 5 probably are not ideal as he can knock them over accidentally when playing.
Responsibilities & Pets
Pet care. Maybe occasionally watering the plants but they’re all pretty low maintenance. I have a gardener and a regular house cleaner who will come just before you arrive. The house does inevitably always smell slightly like dog though. I guess that's what I get for having a 200lb canine.
Kingsley is not neutered and is typically good with most dogs but you always should test the waters before allowing them to play freely. He's not aggressive but other dogs can sometimes not react well to him because he is so big and not fixed.
