Longmont house near Rocky mountains, Boulder and Denver.
Adrian is a Designer engineering lead at Seagate, Lorraine is a nurse. We have 2 sons 19 and 21 years old one son lives in Longmont, the other is at University in Bristol UK. We are English and moved here in 2017. We emigrated with the 4 pets and they have settled very well. We live in a quiet leafy suburb of Longmont within easy reach of the Mountains and Denver. We have a trail behind the house. The neighbours are really friendly and the house is 3 stories and comfortable. We need house sitters when we go back to England to visit.
Our Home & Location
The house is set in a cul de sac in a leafy suburb of Longmont which is in Boulder county. The Rocky Mountain National park , Estes Park, Nederland and Boulder are nearby and Denver is 40 minutes drive.
There are activities all year round, cycling, skiing, climbing, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and as its Colorado brewery tours!...
Eldora ski resort is 39 miles, Winter Park 94 miles and Echo Mountain 72 miles.
There is a supermarket and pharmacy within walking distance. Public transport is limited so a car is recommended, we can add you to our insurance for a car if required. We have 3 bikes that can be used to access the main street with restaurants and bars.
The House is a family home. The upper floor has a large main bedroom with en-suite and 2 other double bedrooms and a study and the second bathroom. The ground floor is open plan with a kitchen, dining room, lounge and laundry room and toilet. the basement has a wonky pool table, an exercise bike, running machine and rower, a bedroom with double bed and a toilet and sink.
The outside space is mainly grass and fenced in for the pets. The back door overlooks a small park and trail, there is a back gate to the trail. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
House sitters would be asked to take care of the house and pets.
In the summer the cats are out most of the day. There is a dog flap to the garage and they all have access to the back garden. Dexter needs a walk once a day (but always happy with more) but Poppy does not always want to go. There is a trail at the back of the house.
