Sweet pitbull in Westminster, CO
Hey there! My husband and I will be travelling to see my family for a few days. We have two dogs, but have decided to board one of them (Finley who can be reactive) so you'll be with our 8 year old sweetheart Thor. We'll fly on a Wednesday Evening and come home on Sunday night.
We live 25 minutes away from both Boulder and Downtown Denver. There are lot's of great shops right up the road-a car would be useful. There's a Caribou Coffee across the street, along with some killer Mexican. Down the street is Walmart, other shoppes, and grocery stores.
Our Home & Location
We bought our town home last year, it's small but great (now that we've almost finished it's full remodel). We have a two bedroom one bath, and two patios (one with a dog door). We live in a very safe neighborhood, and around the corner to some awesome walking trails and private golf course. We have a dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, a/c and heat. Don't be shy to be comfortable. We have one queen bed in our back room/guest room where you would stay. We have a grill outside that you can help yourself to. There's plenty of street parking and friendly/quiet neighbors. We have a big screen TV set up with XBOX ONE, Netflix and Hulu accounts signed in, and WI-FI.
You can go skiing -only a couple hour drive or go hike around in Boulder in one of the many awesome trails. We have many suggestions for restaurants near and in the city. There's a coffee house, Vietnamese, Indian, and Mexican restaurants plus the vet right across the nearest intersection and walkable. We truly appreciate the consideration.
Responsibilities & Pets
Because we only have a patio, Thor will need at least two walks a day. It would be great if you let him out again prior to bed. Thor (8), is very sweet but really depressed when we're out of town and may not eat much. Thor gets fed once in the morning/night post walks. I try to walk him upon waking, once in the afternoon (2/3pm) and once in the evening. But twice is fine! I will let them pee before bed in the front yard.
