1 Dog, 2 Cats and a beautiful home in the Colorado Rockies!
My name is Kayla and like many young people living in Colorado, my husband Sam and I are transplants from the Midwest. We both love reading, cooking, skiing, biking and having fun in the Colorado Rockies!
Our Home & Location
We live in a townhome in Gypsum, Colorado. Our complex of townhomes is cute and family-friendly. We are on the east side of Gypsum which is close to the Airport as well as the town of Eagle. There is also a bus stop in our neighborhood that will take you anywhere in our county ($4 per ride).
The town of Gypsum is located at the west end of Eagle County, just 30 minutes from Beaver Creek and 45 minutes from Vail. We are also very close to Glenwood Springs!...
We live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Being in the heart of the Rockies means there’s many great hiking and biking trails and plenty of adventures to be had in addition to the world-class ski resorts.
We are directly adjacent to the Eagle County Regional Airport (5 minute drive). If you choose to fly into Denver, we are approximately 2.5 hours drive away.
You will have full access to our living, dining and kitchen areas. Your bedroom would be a large first story room with attached full bathroom. We normally rent this room out as a short-term rental space and have over 100 5-star reviews. We have parking available for a car in our driveway if you have one, as well as storage for bikes or any other outdoor toys you may have.

Responsibilities & Pets
We want to leave our home and pets with a person or couple who will love our pets just as much as we do.
We have one pup and two cats. All three animals are fed in the morning and evening and get fresh water throughout the day....
Odin likes to have two 45 minute romps in the dog park every day - but if you are up for more of an adventure he would also love to go hiking or jogging with you! Like most dogs, he also likes lots of love and attention.
The cats don't require much other than a little snuggle or pet when you see them (and of course, lots of treats!). We have an automatic litter box that will only need to be changed once in the middle of your stay.
A little more about Odin - he is a 2 year old rescue dog and he can tend to be skiddish around new people. We have found that the best way to get Odin to trust you is to always greet him with treats when coming/going until he remembers who you are. He will likely bond to you quickly, but he will initially be somewhat scared. He’s super sweet and smart and loves to cuddle & play.
A little more about the cats - Scar and Beamo are low-maintenance and will mostly mind their own business. Beamo is more social and she might crawl on your lap from time to time. Scar is more shy and you might go spans of time without seeing him but he will likely show his face a few times a day.
You will not be responsible for any yard maintenence, mail pick ups, etc. we just want you to have fun with our pets and enjoy the mountains! + More info
