Regular Cat Sitting in Northwest Connecticut
I work remotely from home as a consultant, but travel for business fortnightly (mostly to NYC, but sometimes other US cities) for roughly 3-5 days at a time. My 3 cats are used to having me around and depend on me to look after them. They also like to go outside during the day but must be brought in each evening to protect them from dangerous wildlife.
Our Home & Location
My home is on 8 acres in Northwest Connecticut—often referred to as the foothills of the Berkshires. Many small working farms, lakes and lovely pastures make the area known for its beautiful countryside. The house itself is set back quite far from a small county road and is surround by fields and some woods, completely private from all sides. Bantam lake is a 5 minute drive from the house. The nearest 2 villages, Washington Depot and Bantam, are each a 5 min drive from the house. They both have shops, cafes and a few restaurants. The village of Litchfield is a 10-15 min drive from the house, and has a large grocery store, pharmacies, restaurants and all other general amenities. There are great hiking trails and lakes for water activities during the warmer seasons. In the winter, there is skiing at nearby Mohawk Mountain.
Responsibilities & Pets

> Seeing to it that cats stay indoors until 8AM.
> Morning & evening meal feedings and snacks during the day.
> Water bowls to be refilled daily with fresh water.
> Litter boxes to be thoroughly cleaned daily.
> Water plants on deck 1x p/day unless it rains (spring/summer/autumn).
> Water hanging plants 1x p/day (spring/summer/autumn).
