Sitter Needed for Two Sweet Senior Pups in Orlando
Hi, we are Kirsten and Jeremy! We live in Orlando with our spoiled pup, Capone and our newest addition Luna. Capone is a super-sweet 10 year old pitbull mix who thrives on having humans around... oh and some treats (we call them trouts) don't hurt either. Luna is a quiet and sweet 8 year old greyhound mix (we think) who loves to lounge around and spend time outside.
Jeremy and I love to travel and love traveling with our pups, but as Capone is getting older traveling makes him more anxious, so he doesn't enjoy it as much anymore. We are looking for a someone (individual or couple) who can come and stay with Capone and Luna while we travel. Both are pretty laid back and require very little. They both love nothing more than to have humans around for some petting in between nap sessions. They eat 2 times a day and enjoy spending time sunning themselves in our fully-fenced backyard. We both work, so they are used to being alone for 8-10 hours during the day....
Orlando is a great area to explore and our house is just 10 minutes from Downtown, 25-30 from Disney and Seaworld, 15 from Universal, an hour to East Coast beaches and about two hours to West Coast beaches. We are right in the middle of the state and there are lots of wonderful towns to explore surrounding us. Jeremy and I are pretty social people and are happy to recommend things to do, places to visit or restaurants based on your preferences.
I really hope to share our awesome area, nice house and lovable pups with some other travelers. Hope to hear from you soon! + More info
Our Home & Location
Orlando... Home to Disney, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, tons of beaches. Just a couple hours from Jacksonville, Tampa. Tons to do and still warm in the winter ;)
Responsibilities & Pets
For Capone, he requires petting, feeding twice a day (with special pills), let him out, take him for an evening walk. Seriously that is it.
Luna has chronic dry eye and needs her eyes cleaned and antibiotics and artificial tears twice a day. She too eats twice a day (no pills), she loves walks and is good on the leash. She currently suffers from separation anxiety, so she has to be in a cage when no one is home, but she goes in easily and doesn't seem to mind it. She has her bed and pillows (which are her favorite) in her cage.
