Pup in need of extra snuggles
I travel to inspect cell & broadcast towers all over the country. My schedule can be very spontaneous and unpredictable. Miss Jack is an ESA, but on short trips to the West coast, I try to put her well-being ahead of my own. Having someone in my home for her, is the only alternative, as I will not board her. I'm new to the Atlanta area, with no friends or family to rely on anymore. I've never used a sitting service, but hope this will be the answer for my furry ones.
Our Home & Location
My home is 3bed/2bath, 1500sf, 0.63 acre lot and is located 19 miles from the ATL airport, 26 miles from the Convention center, and reasonably convenient to downtown ATL. Stone Mountain is less than 15 miles away. I675, I285, I85, I20 and I75 are all within minutes. High-speed wifi, laundry, guest linens, kitchen wares, etc. are available. You'll find everything clean & tidy upon your arrival...minus some fur. :)
Responsibilities & Pets
Let Miss Jack outside as needed, generally 3-4 times daily. We don't typically go on walks, she's rather lazy. Crate her when you're out, she eats the cat food. She's allowed on all furniture, and sleeps in bed. She will play and take all the snuggles you're willing to give. Our yard is not fenced, but Jack doesn't run off. I'd suggest a leash for your first time outside, but after you feel she listens, it's definitely not necessary. She's not particularly fond of being leashed while using the bathroom. While she is a legitimate ESA, keep in mind she's also a rescue and can be a little nervous at times. She's a 40lb pit mix and will melt your heart within minutes.
Cat box can be scooped every other day. Cat feeder lasts a week, I fill it before trips. Treasure (grey tabby) is snobby at first, but sweet. Mrs Z is needy, sweet & SUPER affectionate (can't pick her up, trust me & don't try). Neither cat has been declawed, but they don't hurt anything but the carpet....
Geckos will only need their water checked, I feed them before any trip. They have attitude problems, but can be handled if you like.
I could write an essay about them all, and probably bore my readers, but the short version is that I love them all and put their needs above my own. + More info
