Alexander the Great Dane
My name is Stephanie, and I am absolutely obsessed with my Great Dane Alexander. He is one of the greatest creatures to ever live. We live in a small apartment in Baton Rouge. He is not a small dog, and it becomes difficult to travel with him. I have never hired a house/dog sitter before, and am a little nervous about the process.
Our Home & Location
We live in the heart of Baton Rouge. Our apartment complex is ten minutes driving distance within any direction of great Louisiana food. The capital city is not only a great place for eating, but has quite a few site seeing attractions. Baton Rouge is also only 1 hours drive from New Orleans. All just a google search away :) We live in a small one bedroom apartment, that we find to be very cozy.
Responsibilities & Pets
Alexander is a very fun loving guy. Easy to care for, as long as he receives copious amounts of pets and snuggles. He is fed twice a day. Taken to the toilet (and picked up behind) 3 times a day. And walked once a day. If we are feeling froggy we will go to the tennis court, and throw the ball around. Sometimes we even meander over to the dog park. He is very easy going, sleeps a lot, and loves his routine. He knows the clock better than us humans do :) He does what Great Danes do best, lounges on the couch for hours on in. He will also chase shadows and lights given any opportunity. I can say he is quite quirky. As easy going as he is, he does not like to be left home alone for hours on in. I wouldn't want you to be away for more than 6 hours at a time. He gets separation anxiety easily, and for that he must be kenneled anytime he is left in the apartment alone. Even if it is for a few minutes. If there are any questions, I am happy to answer them :)
