Stay with 2 Cats on the Boston Harbor
My partner and I travel often and we always have a hard time leaving our cats, Babyness and Cocoa Puff. They are pretty low maintenance but very social and affectionate. We live on a waterfront property on the Boston Harbor with a subway station just steps away.
Our Home & Location
We live in an apartment building on the Boston Harbor in East Boston. Steps away from the front door is a subway station which is one stop (5 minutes) from the Aquarium train stop, which is about a 5 minute walk from Quincy Market, the Boston Public Market, tons of restaurants and nightlife. The subway system here can quickly connect you to all parts of the city. Just one subway stop in the other direction from our apartment is the airport, so it's very easy to get here. If you arrive before we leave, we will be happy to pick you up.
Our apartment is a new construction 1 bedroom with a fully equipped modern kitchen. Our living room and bedroom have access Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and Amazon Prime video. Our bedroom has a king sized bed which we will make up with clean sheets, pillowcases, and duvet cover, or if you prefer you can sleep on the couch which is a medium sized sectional. We have laundry in unit which you are welcome to use....
We are vegan and prefer not to have animal products cooked or stored in our kitchen. While that's what we prefer, we try to be pretty reasonable and ask that if you cook with or have animal products, please throw them away before we get home and clean up well. We have a dishwasher that you can put most of our cookware in. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Babyness and Cocoa Puff are very easy in terms of feeding and litter box care - they eat wet food once a day and keep dry food filled throughout the rest of the day. The litter box should be scooped once a day with the waste discarded in the trash chute across the hall. Our biggest concern is that they are very social and affectionate and they like a lot of attention. You by no means have to stay in for them, but we prefer someone who will be home at least part of the day or night, who is willing to pet them and talk to them. They will want to sleep with or on you. They like to purr on people's laps and chests. This is really best for someone who loves cats and will not be bothered by this.
