Agnes in Minneapolis Minnesota
We are both retired and enjoy traveling. Our dog, Agnes, does not enjoy traveling though so we must leave her at home. Before retiring I worked in administration at a local university and Chris worked for the state of Minnesota.
Our Home & Location
We live in southwest Minneapolis near many parks and lakes. Minnehaha parkway is a block and a half from our home. It will connect walkers, runners, and bikers to many parts of the city as well as St. Paul, our sister city next door. Our home has two bedrooms, a den/third bedroom, two bathrooms, a large deck and fenced in back yard.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have one dog, Agnes. She is about 10 years old. Agnes came to us from a rescue organization in the spring of 2015. She is a mix of hound, boxer, and pit bull—we think. She weighs about 55 pounds and is sweet and protective. She needs to be walked for at least a half hour twice a day and taken out briefly for a final time In the evening. She generally does not relieve herself in our yard, which is fine with us, but it does mean she needs to be taken out as indicated above. She eats twice a day and is given seasonal allergy medication (pills with a treat) three times a day.
