Daisy Rose Farm - Rural Missouri
We are a small hobby farm located 22 miles north of Springfield, MO. We have two sweet girl cats named Violet and Barney, a young dog named Cora, three Nigerian Dwarf goat girls named Petunia, Sweet Pea, and Buttercup, a miniature donkey named Poppy, and five laying hens that are beautiful.
Our Home & Location
Our little farm is located in the country on a street with five other neighbors. We have a wet weather creek, some pasture and some wooded areas. We mow a path in the back and take Cora on walks there everyday. The city of Springfield, Missouri is about 22 minutes south of us. There is where you will find art, shopping, bass pro and other urban conveniences. We are five miles from our own quaint town of Fair Grove, Missouri. There you will find a couple of farm stores, a grocery store, and a few restaurants. You will see plenty of beautiful sunsets, fill your lungs with fresh air, and enjoy loads of valuable peace and quiet. You have access to sattelite Wi-Fi, a dvd player, BBQ grill and a jetted tub. We are looking forward to our own travels and seek a responsible, tidy and animal loving housesitter(s). Please let us know if you are available and interested.

Responsibilities & Pets
While staying on our small, seven-acre hobby farm, we ask that you enjoy and take care of all of our animals and home. The animals need food and fresh water daily. Violet enjoys a good brushing while Barney wants to play. Cora is a sweet dog who knows basic commands. She needs active play and walks. She also needs her naps and may need a bath sometimes. The goats and the donkey also enjoy being brushed and taken for walks around the property. You will need to collect eggs and also open and close the run door of the coop to keep the hens safe and happy. Depending upon the time of your stay, there may be garden or lawn care needs.
