23 May - 06 June 2019 - House, Holly cat, chickens, & fish. We are taking dog and Ivy Cat with us.

Introduction
We are a quiet couple who enjoy the history, architecture, and arts of other parts of our country and the world. Jonathan was a software engineer, recently retired and Nancy is a retired business owner. She did accounting for several nonprofit organizations before starting her own company. We have four adult children between us and two grandchildren. We love our home and our pets, but we also love to travel while we still can.
Our Home & Location
We built our dream home in 2011. The master bed & bath is on 1st floor and has a Queen bed and direct access to a 3-season porch. The guest bed & bath is on second floor. It has two twin beds. We can also add a crib if you need one. We use our other two bedrooms as our offices. We also have a roll away cot. There is a large loft over-looking the foyer with many games and a table to play them on. Large open concept Living room / kitchen. The kitchen has custom cabinets and stainless appliances. The formal dining room faces West towards the mountains and has direct access to the back deck. We also have a separate laundry room.
Three acres of open field bounded by stone walls and trees with westerly views, beautiful sunsets, and wildlife....
Quiet location but less than 10 minutes to major highway, 20 minutes to lake, 30 minutes to skiing, an hour to the ocean.
Every season is beautiful - spring flowers, summer lakes, fall colors, winter snow sports.

Responsibilities & Pets
We are buying an RV so that we can take the dog, and at least one cat (Ivy), when we travel. So we may only need you to take care of the chickens, fish, and maybe Holly cat. If we fly someplace, then all the animals will be home.
Dog: English Shepherd born 28 February 2017. We hope to train her to help herd the chickens and keep them from wandering off our property. She will also be our family pet. She will need the most work, as she loves to go for walks and play in the yard....
Cats: feed morning and evening; fresh water as needed; clean cat boxes as needed. Our Ivy cat requires insulin injections twice a day.
Fish: feed a few flakes of food once a day
Chickens: Let out of coop in the morning; close up in coop about sunset (be sure they are all in the coop); Make sure food and water is always available (fill about every 3 days); clean out old wood shavings and replace weekly; clean out old hay in laying boxes and replace every 3-5 days as needed.
