Solar panels and batteries for lights and electricity, propane refrigerator, heaters, and cook stove, wood stove, wireless internet, Roku, DVD player, one full and one twin-sized bed. 1200 SF 2-level home on dog-safe-fenced 3 acres with no visible neighbors. Wildlife, natural habitat, FOUR miles of dirt road from paved State mountainous Highway. Laundromat, co-op and auto repair, library, Llama ranch and gift store, weaving/espresso shop, Dollar Store, and a few local restaurants approximately 10 miles away in the neighboring town of Mora. Sipapu ski basin is 10 miles away. Taos ski basin and town are approximately 35-40 miles North. Historic Las Vegas is 40 miles South . Santa Fe is 80 miles Southwest. Very quiet. Lots of wildlife. Adjacent to Carson National Forest with hiking, golfing, picnicking, swimming, and fishing options in the summer. Snowshoeing outside the back door in winter. Sledding hills are easy to get to, too. Numerous art galleries, museums, theaters, shopping, skiing available for cultural interests. Two active and affectionate dogs will accompany you on your travels or stay home if you prefer a day to yourself. Quiet, simple outdoor life. Would appreciate attentive responsible honest straightforward healthy kind independent individual with awareness and willingness to be present and accommodate limited energy and accessibility resources. Winters can be cold and snowy. Must know how to manage wood stove safely and bring supplies to last the duration, in case you are snowed in. Albuquerque (120 miles- 2.5 hours) and Santa Fe (80 miles- 1.5 hours) airports are available for air transport. Please provide your own 4WD/AWD transportation. Responsibilities & Pets
Feed two healthy dogs twice a day . Good hour long walk once a day in nearby hills or on the adjacent roads. Thank you.
