Country home in rural Western New York
My husband and I recently retired from teaching careers and enjoy traveling. We have three daughters who we often travel to see. Our youngest is finishing school in Florida. We also are looking forward to many camping adventures in our future. We have raised several dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Calab was our last dog we trained.
Our Home & Location
Our home is located about an hour away from Buffalo and Rochester New York. We are less than a mile from Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and a short drive to Letchworth Park. We have a large pond for swimming and several hammocks strategically located for relaxation!
Responsibilities & Pets
Responsibilities would include taking Calab out for walks and exercise during the day. He is fed twice daily and needs medication for seizures. Many times he travels with us, but will need to stay behind when we fly to our destination. You will also need to feed & water the barn cats. The are pretty chill and hang around the property but never enter the house. Eggs will need to be gathered daily from the chickens. Food and water should be checked too.
