Refuge in NYC - 15 minute ride to Central Park - Diabetic Cat
I am a 28-year old professional who travels a lot for work. I am a triathlete and marathon runner with a cookie addiction.
Our Home & Location
This 2 bedroom apartment is located in Astoria, Queens a 2 minute walk from the N/W subway lines, a 15 minute subway ride to Central Park. The apartment is located on a tree-lined street just an avenue's walk away from 30th ave, a main street with bars and restaurants. The apartment is shared with a professional woman in her mid-twenties who works long hours. My bedroom is large with a queen-size bed and storage for your clothes. You would have free rein of all the kitchen and common space - desk, TV, kitchen appliances, et al.
Responsibilities & Pets
My cat was recently diagnosed with feline diabetes. While the time commitment is minimal, the housesitter must be consistent. She receives 3/4 cup of food daily and a bowl of water. Every morning and every evening she must be given a quick insulin shot (15 seconds tops). Housesitter must be comfortable with consistency and needles.
