Slow down & enjoy life
Having never created a bio let alone one with a WOW factor is a bit of pressure. I will start be saying how we came to find Trusted House Sitters. We met a wonderful couple through mutual friends that were visiting from Florida. Through conversation they expressed interest in sitting for us for an upcoming trip. Justin and I felt a sense if ease with them immediately. The connection they displayed with our pets was genuine. The gift of meeting Brad and Sharon solidified as the text photographs of our happy pets started arriving while we were away. These text photos had the greatest impact on us being able to relax and enjoy our time away knowing our pets were happy. We reached out to them and asked if they were planning a trip back to Oregon anytime soon and would be willing to house sit again. Sadly they are months away from returning. Sharon however mentioned their recent connection to Trusted House sitters and suggested we join.
Our Home & Location
We are a professional couple with two adult children and two grandsons. Our non-smoking home features an extra master with an on suite. Our pets are at the center of our family. Bentley is a 12-year-old Yorkshire that loves his parents. Glory is a 7-year-old GSP that loves running & sleeping next to a hot fire. We have a 20 acre tree farm with walking trails throughout. The peace and serenity of living here is truly a gift. We are 1 hour from downtown Portland, Oregon (a commute I do regularly). The importance of trusting our home and beloved pets to someone who will care for them as much as we do is extremely important to us.
Responsibilities & Pets
Primary responsibilities would include ensuring our dogs are let out to exercise, have fresh food and water, and get personal play time and attention.
