Hi! We're Kasey & Justin, and live in the Troy Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. We own a theater, and travel frequently. I have boarded my pets in the past, and they just hate it. We're looking for caring people to take care of our wonderful dog and cats while we're traveling.

Our Home & Location
We own a cute, 154 year old house in the Troy Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Two bedrooms (king and queen beds), one bathroom, living room, eat in kitchen with a private patio in the back. Unfinished basement with laundry. We have very reliable wifi (the guest bedroom has a desk with USB power cable strips), television in the living room with cable, DVD player (with lots of movies!) and apple tv with netflix, amazon, etc.
Troy Hill is almost directly next to downtown Pittsburgh, set on top of a hill. Within walking distance to our house is the Pear and the Pickle (best breakfast sandwich in the city, and also a great place to work if you want to get out of the house), Scratch Food & beverage, La Hutte Royal (an art installation house), SpacesCorners, an artist-run bookshop, gallery, and project space dedicated to contemporary photography (open by appointment only) and St. Anthony Chapel, dedicated in 1883, St. Anthony's has the largest collection of Catholic relics outside of the Vatican. There is also Goettman Cemetery, with the of the people who founded Troy Hill, amazing views and interesting memorials. A little further (about a 20 minute walk each way) is Penn Brewery, one of Pittsburgh's oldest craft breweries - they also serve amazing german food in their historic restaurant. In Spring Garden (down the other side of the hill, there is Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse & Whiskey Garden & Threadbare Mead and Cider - two places really cool (and amazing drinks). Also very close (long walk or short drive) to downtown, the Strip District, Oakland, Mount Washington and everything else.
