Perfect location in historic Charleston, SC
We live in a lovely historic (1880) Charleston "Single" in Harleston VIllage, a block away from the beautifully restored Colonial Lake and near the best shopping and dining in town. Our Frenchie is an adorable clown who makes everyone smile. Our Persian cat, Gus, is an explorer who's rarely inside when the weather is good. Oliver, our Cavvie, is a 15 months old and loves to go for walks. He has the sweetest personality ever.
Our Home & Location
Being a port town, we are not far from several beaches (Folly, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms), but you would need a car. You can walk to King Street (approx 5 blocks) where the best shopping is. Charleston is also a foodie's delight ("Top Chef" was filmed here) so you have some of the best restaurants in the US. Then we have Middleton Place (beautiful gardens) and many parks (including dog parks, where Winston loves to go). "Travel & Leisure" just named Charleston the top city in the world, and it really is a little piece of heaven. I call it my "Mini-Paris".
Responsibilities & Pets
Other than loving and caring for our three pets, not much. A bit of plant/flower watering, taking the trash can to the street once a week, keeping the house clean and neat. Winston and Oliver need to be walked several times a day (we usually take them around Colonial Lake, a block away. or Cannon Park, or the Horse Lot ), but if it's rainy or over 80 degrees, just let them out in the backyard.
