Responsibilities & Pets
The cat, Butterscotch, is BIG! 24 pounds. He is fed twice a day and seems to like a lot of attention. Brushing, etc. He will sometimes want to sit on your lap or sleep on your bed, but not always. He goes in and out to the fenced back yard through a pet door, though if you are in sight he will want you to let him out via the people door. He will want to go into the front yard but we don't let him do that unless we are with him, following him around. There are two goldfish in a pond (a cattle waterer) in the front landscaping where we drop some fish food in about once a day. The fish require no care other than feeding, which takes a minute or so.
Butterscotch is in good health, requires no medication. Neutered. The vet we use is about 5 miles away, where they have all his health records since he was a kitten. If you tease him he has been known to scratch and bite - his idea of playing.
