Livin' la Vida Loki in Downtown Dallas
Howdy! I am Morgan and my husband is Rob. We are transplants from Florida that now live in Dallas, Texas. We love to be outdoors and to take part in fun social activities with our friends which is why our location and home is so ideal. I am a web and user experience designer and my husband works in sales for industrial automation. We got our fur baby, Loki, shortly after moving to Dallas and he is the love of our life. He loves people and enjoys laying around on the couch with us. We enjoy taking him out on hikes and going to the dog park (walking distance from our home) as much as we can. Other than that he is content to play with his various toys at home, and lay out on balcony. We hope that by having someone stay with him at home that he will feel less stressed when we are away.
Our Home & Location
Our home is an apartment walking distance from downtown, and Deep Ellum which is the local arts district chalk full of fun bars, restaurants, and breweries. Also, we are only a 5 minute drive from all of the other hot parts of Dallas surrounding downtown. If you need to go to the mall or venture out away from the area we are conveniently located by 2 on-ramps to the highways to get you where ever you need to go! We have 2 bedrooms, all though one is used as an office, and 2 bathrooms. We live on the 4th story of our building that has a parking garage and locked gates around the complex for your security. There is even a little dog area in the building where Loki likes to meet up with his friends in the morning. It's a spacious laid back spot that is close to all the action.
Responsibilities & Pets
Loki is almost 3 but still has a lot of energy. We don't know for sure, but speculate that he is a mix of lab and german shepherd. He loves to play with the rope and chase balls. We walk him twice a day. In the morning he gets a shorter walk around the block, ending in the little dog park in the building (he doesn't like to poop on the leash hahah), and in the afternoon Rob will either take him on a run or to the big dog park close to our complex where he can run and chase balls. We feed him twice a day (2 cups of food for each meal). Under NO circumstances do we give him table scraps or people food. In the past he has pancreatitis and high fat foods can induce it to happen again. (And trust me, its not fun for anyone.) Other than that we just love on him at home and play around the house. He is pretty easy going.
