Responsible and loving pet sitter to watch our furbabies
New to the Haymarket/Gainesville, VA, my husband and I need a sitter to watch our furbabies when we travel. Our cat Princess Buttercup is very independent. Our dog Parker is a complete love slut, who enjoys walks in the neighborhood. He also just loves lounging on the sofa with a fuzzy blanket while being petted. Both are really chill animals wanting what all pets want: adoration.
Our Home & Location
We recently bought a single-family home in the Haymarket/Gainesville area of Virginia. For Civil War history and birding enthusiasts we are just down the street (literally just down Sudley Rd) from Manassas Battlefield Park. While the house has all the peace and tranquility of being in the country, a six mile drive will deliver all modern shopping and restaurant conveniences you could want. And, if you like BBQ we have at least 3 really yummy locations nearby (menus in the info binder that you will find in the kitchen). We are a 47 minute drive to all the historic sites of DC. Of course if you prefer taking the Metro into downtown, we aren't too far away from a station where you can park your car and take the train into the city. 30 minutes from Dulles airport to our house.
Responsibilities & Pets
Responsibilities would include making sure Princess Buttercup has food/water in the auto feeder throughout our time away. Princess Buttercup is pretty low maintenance for a cat. She loves getting petted, does not scratch or bite. Parker would need to be fed in the morning and taken for three small walks during the day. Parker can be left to roam the house when sitter is headed out for the day. He doesn't have to be crated, although he can be crated if you are going out for a longer period of time. Parker is a big love muffin and will gladly spend his entire day cuddled up next to you on the sofa.
