Pet sitter needed for 2 cute kitties!
My husband and I recently bought a townhouse in Seattle and are both working full-time. We love to explore the city and also love to travel the world. We try to do at least one International trip per year and have been to Italy, Greece, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Ireland together. Stella and Gus are our fur babies and we love them to pieces. Although we love traveling, we hate to leave them behind and having a pet sitter helps put our minds at ease. We've had Stella since October 2015 and Gus since December 2017.
Our Home & Location
Our place is located on a quiet, residential street in Capitol Hill, a charming neighborhood near downtown that is close to lots of fun shops and restaurants. We live in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom townhome with the cutest (tiny) yard that is right next to several major bus lines. A house sitter is not needed necessarily (as our main concern is having a pet sitter interact with Stella & Gus daily) but we are open to it.
Responsibilities & Pets
*A house sitter to stay in our place is not required - we are mainly looking for someone who can stop by 1-2x/day to interact with/feed Stella & Gus*
Stella can be a bit shy at first and may hide underneath furniture--she can be coaxed with treats usually and warms up over time. She also sometimes gets jealous when Gus gets the attention since she is the resident cat and we've only had Gus since December. Gus is much more outgoing and playful but loves to attack his sister. He loves his canned food and can usually be coaxed with that....
-Food: a bowl of food is left out for them at all times and it just needs to be re-filled periodically. Every other day they get also split a thing of canned food
-Water: She drinks from a filtered water fountain and it just needs more water every few days
-Treats: Stella loves her treats and Gus loves stealing hers--we give them each 5-10 per day (at least 5 should be the dental ones) and this is the quickest way to their heart
-Brush: they both LOVE to be brushed - Gus prefers the softer-sided bruch and Stella loves her wired one
-Toys: they are both VERY playful but Stella may not show her playful side right away + More info
