Pet sitter needed for playful (but shy) kitty!
My husband and I recently bought a townhouse in Seattle and are both working full-time. We love to explore the city and also love to travel the world. We try to do at least one International trip per year and have been to Italy, Greece, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Ireland together. Stella, our cat, is our fur baby and we love her to pieces. Although we love traveling, we hate to leave her behind and having a pet sitter helps put our minds at ease.
Our Home & Location
Our place is located on a quiet, residential street in Capitol Hill, a charming neighborhood near downtown that is close to lots of fun shops and restaurants. We live in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom townhome with the cutest (tiny) yard that is right next to several major bus lines. A house sitter is not needed necessarily (as our main concern is having a pet sitter interact with Stella daily) but we are open to it.
Responsibilities & Pets
*A house sitter to stay in our place is not required - we are mainly looking for someone who can stop by 1-2x/day to interact with/feed Stella*
Stella can be a bit shy at first and may hide underneath furniture--she can be coaxed with treats usually and warms up over time
-Food: a bowl of food is left out for her at all times and it just needs to be re-filled periodically.
-Water: She drinks from a filtered water fountain and it just needs more water every few days
-Turkey: she gets 1-2 slices of turkey per day sliced up into bite sized pieces
-Treats: she loves her treats--we give her 5-10 per day (at least 5 should be her dental ones) and this is the quickest way to her heart
-Brush: she LOVES to be brushed (even her belly)
-Toys: she LOVES her blue mouse and her squirrel (she throws it up in the air herself and catches it); she also loves chasing her rainbow ribbon around the house or when you bounce a bouncy ball on the wood stairs
