Stretch Out in Our Seattle Home!
We have house sat in the past with Trusted Housesitters and had an amazing time. The tables have turned and now we need someone to watch over our home and our dog! Violet is our affectionate 50lb lap dog and would be the primary responsibility for your stay. Other than that, we hope you use our home as if it is yours and explore this great city we love!
Our Home & Location
We have a cute, 91 year old home in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, so lots of space for you to stretch out. We have a driveway where you can park your car. We also have a finished basement with a comfy lounging couch and 65" TV with Chromecast. Our kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. There are a few great restaurants right around the corner, and University Village is only a 15 minute walk (Din Tai Fung, Veggie Grill, Molly Moon's Ice Cream, among others - and great shopping). It's really easy to get anywhere in Seattle from our house. The 76 bus picks up across the street from our house and takes 15-20 minutes to get downtown. The 62 takes you to Green Lake, Wallingford, Fremont and downtown. You can also easily get to Capitol Hill.
Responsibilities & Pets
Violet is a 15 month old pup full of love and energy. She is a rescue boxer/pit bull mix and we have been working on her training, so we expect you will follow our instructions to make sure she behaves for you! She is a 50lb lap dog who loves to give kisses and snuggle. She is pretty easygoing and sleeps most of the day. She gets one long walk daily (40-60 minutes), or two shorter walks if that is better for you (20-30 minutes). Violet can hold it for about 6-8 hours if you need to be out all day, but if you can, we prefer that she get let out in the yard every 4 hours or so. She can be very exuberant and excitable, so if you have small children, we don't recommend our home (ages 8+ should be okay).
