Home and cat sitting
We are a retired couple with 3 married sons and 2 grandchildren. We have 2 Cats, one is a female mini Tabby and the other is a male Ragdoll. We also have a neighbor's outdoor cat that comes and visits on a regular basis. His name is Milo and he is a gentle giant. He will meet you on the deck or on the front porch and fully expects to be welcomed in. He will stay for a few hours to a few days. He likes dry food only.
Our Home & Location
We have a 3 story, 4 bedroom, 4 bath home located 30 minutes east of Seattle in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Our property backs a green belt with a view of a natural lake. There is a public park for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing. Combustion engines, are not allowed on this lake, it is very quiet. We have Mountain biking trails below our home along the lake and an extensive road bike trail “The Cedar River Trail.” The Summers here are warm and dry typically. We see days in the mid 80s to low 100s. Winters are mild with light snow fall a few days. It’s beautiful and then it melts within a week.
Lots of bird watching, we have nesting bald eagles, year round Anna’s Hummingbirds, raccoons, deer, little Bobcats, Coyotes and an occasional black ( I have lived here 18 years and I have never seen a bear myself). **DO NOT LET OUR CATS OUT NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY**
