Loving cat living on South Hill needs a companion
I am retired from the Spokane School District as an Occupational Therapist. I worked with special needs children. .
My twin sons live in California. I visit my granddaughter 4-5x a year, usually for 10 days. And I occasionally travel for 4-5 days. My very black cat, Tumbleweed, is very social and loving. Loves to be petted. She goes outside for short times but is not a wanderer....
A young couple lived here for a year with their newborn baby. They said I was the easiest person they had ever lived with in their travels. I believe in mutual respect based on open communication. All situations can be handled together with problem-solving and humor. + More info
Our Home & Location
My clinker brick home, built in 1938, is 2 story with 4 bedrooms , 2 3/4 baths, washer, driyer. I have WiFi, Smart TV, CD player, piano, no land line. I just remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms and had wood floors refinished. The back of the house looks out into a flower garden with a privacy fence. The deck has a porch swing. Parking is in the driveway.
My home is within 1 mile of Manito, Comstock, and Canon Hill Parks. Coffee shops that are within 1 mile are Starbucks, Rocket Bakery, Rockwood, and Huckleberries. A bus stop on Monroe is 3 houses away. Grocery shopping is 1 mile to Rosauer's or 2 miles to Manito Shopping Center. Driving down Monroe takes me 8 minutes to get downtown and goes directly into the parking garage at Riverpark Square.
Responsibilities & Pets
Tumbleweed needs food, water, cat treats, and her litter box cleaned daily. She likes to go outside but will usually stay out for only 15 min. She comes to the sound of a wind chime at the back door. She is very quiet, seldom meows and is not demanding. When she wants something she will come close and sit and look at you until you figure it out. She will follow you around the house just for the company. She is very loving, likes being held and petted.
Yard service takes care of yard needs. No other responsibilities
