Our Home & Location
Mike and I enjoy traveling and are looking for an occasional Pet/House sitter. We have a beautiful 2 story 3bedroom/ 3 bath home in Vancouver, WA about 15 min to Portland , OR.There is a large open floor plan and a nice kitchen. The home is in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood with a very nice neighborhood park with walking trails.Grocery stores and shopping are within a 5 or 10 minute drive. Winco, Safeway, Fred Myer. Plenty of restaurants also in the area. A very nice newer hospital is also about a 5 min. drive in case of an emergency. We have a 1 eye squirrel that begs for peanuts everyday, she has been living in the tree for about 5 yrs now. She is very sweet. The beautiful backyard with lots of privacy, there are fruit trees and lots of Blackberries along with a vegetable garden. You can sit on a swing or garden bench and really relax out there. There have basic Wi-Fi but only rabbit ears for local news stations. We do not watch much TV. There is a DVD player for movies.
Responsibilities & Pets
Make sure the cats have food ,fresh water and lots of love. Jack the gray cat sleeps inside at night, if the weather is nice he likes to be outside during the day. We now have a stray black and white outdoor cat that is now expecting a meal or two per day. I feed the black and white cat in the morning and in the evening, her bowl is outside under the patio table. Squirrels like peanuts, bird seed.Fill the Hummingbird feeder if empty.
