We've had a little refresh!

That's right - we’ve been listening and reflecting on how our community has grown to just over 185K members, and we’ve given things a spruce up. Our new look and feel is inspired by you, our members and your glorious pets! It's bold, a bit more modern and zesty, with a focus on capturing the spirit of our vibrant pet-loving community.

Some things are sticking around (if it isn’t broke, why fix it?) such as our trusty logo, and rest assured, nothing will be changing with your membership offering. We’re still the same brand you know and love - we’ve simply been to the groomers, is all… 

We’ll be rolling out these tweaks and updates across our website, app, emails, and social media channels over the next couple of months - so keep those eyes peeled (and paws poised).

A brand for pet people (like you!)

We spent the first part of this year looking at the data, speaking with members, and doing research with pet people all over the world. We wanted to make sure that our brand was truly reflective of the joyful, rewarding, and inspirational lives that you - our members - live through the special bond and uniquely rewarding care of pet-sitting. We loved hearing your stories and seeing first-hand how impactful the connections between people and pets truly are - and it felt like our brand needed to match the radical optimism we felt from our community.

We're a brand with pets and people at its core: enabling unique travel adventures and connecting pet lovers across the globe. Now that's pretty special, right? Our community is a radically optimistic, open-hearted, truly glass-half-full kinda bunch - and it's those pillars that we used to develop our refreshed look and feel. 

Plus, we've grown a lot as a brand. This year, we've welcomed many new members and their furry fam, and our community now stands at 185k members strong (and counting). We needed colors, illustrations, and photography that truly reflected our community today - whilst still remaining accessible, distinctive, and memorable. So we took a step back, looked at what makes us unique, audited our current creative assets, and developed a whole new suite of visual branding.

Before we launch into our brand refresh, though, we thought it might be nice to take a little trip down memory lane. Over the years, and as our global community has grown, so has our visual branding - adapting and evolving based on insight, data, trends, and feedback from our members...

So, ready for a sneak peek of our latest brand refresh? Without further ado, let’s dive into it...

What’s new?

Showcasing member moments

As part of our refresh, we’ll be sharing even more real-life member moments. Your captured memories of care and connection enables us to share the genuine love, joy, adventure, and variety that the world of pet sitting unlocks. Just take a look at some of our past #TrustedTales competition winners this year!

Updated color palette

From Tennis Ball Green to Llamazing Lilac (and of course, our trademark Trusty Teal). Our new color palette is designed to inject fun and reflect our members, with their open-hearted, warm-natured spirit, and zest for life rivaling that of a Springer Spaniel! It’s about trust, play, and adventure, but most of all, not taking ourselves too seriously.

New illustrations

Our new wide range of illustrations mirrors the huge diversity of pets and people on our platform, whilst injecting a vibrant burst of fun, personality, and movement that'll rub off on you just as easily as Fido’s fur. We've got plans to keep developing the range, adding different pet species and breeds... so watch this space!

Refreshed photography

Our new direction doubles down on candid images of pets and people that are full of genuine joy - sparking memories, feelings, and emotions, complemented by a Polaroid-style treatment to reflect a member's scrapbook of travel memories.

What’s sticking around?

Our brand name
‘TrustedHousesitters’ has become a well-known and recognizable part of our brand, instilling trust and aiding people’s comprehension of what we do. 

Our logo and brandmark
'Trusty', our much-loved graphic dog, echoes the shape of a bright-eyed pup combined with a loving home. Needless to say, he wasn’t going anywhere.

Our typography
Our brand typeface, Poppins, conveys an open and friendly design that’s approachable and accessible, lending itself for our words to feel emotional and optimistic. 

Our mission
We're a business that prides itself on thinking pet first - everything we do is for our members and their furry family. Our passion for pets, people, and the planet is what makes us unique - and that'll never change.
